Bike Center

Bike Center is a bicycle shop in St. Louis, Missouri that has been around since 1964. I was contacted by them to create a front + back design for their new tshirts.
They wanted the design to revolve around the Grateful Dead skull. To link the design with their rowdy, mountain bike persona, I illustrated a vibrant mountain bike scene within the skull.
The type is custom, as well. I incorporated the Grateful Dead’s signature lightning bolt to replace the “i” in “Bike Center” to tie the whole design together.
